Please join us for our General Meeting on Wednesday, September 16, 2015. It begins at 7:00pm upstairs in the lounge in the Strathcona Community League Building, 10139 – 87 Ave. We will be featuring all of our members’ creations made for our “Crayon Challenge”.
Our guild will be at Creative Stitches on Friday, September 11 and Saturday, September 12, 2015. It is being held at Millennium Place in Sherwood Park. We will give two workshops, one at 4:45 – 5:45 on Friday and one at 1:00 – 2:00pm on Saturday. For more information, see their website by clicking here.
News from EWG We missed everyone’s Crayon Challenge at the AGM! So don’t throw your crayon away, bring it and your colourful creation to our next meeting in September. If you are a new member and didn’t get a crayon, contact Arlene at classes@www.edmontonweavers.org to get your crayon.

O,n Saturday, January 10, 2015, the Edmonton Weavers’ Guild held a great workshop to learn the craft of Viking Knitting. This is a process of wrapping fine wire around a dowel template.
