EWG Weaving Program Strathcona 55+ Centre
The Strathcona Place Weaving Program has places for up to ten members. If you know of someone 55+ who would like to try weaving at a supported level, or who wants to get back into weaving gently, have them call Kathy at 780-436-0530. We meet weekly on Wednesday mornings.
The program is designed for participation at all levels. Volunteers from EWG prepare looms and teach newcomers, and assist at all levels of experience. Teaching is on an as-needed basis. This is not a formal class but you will learn as you go, and will be encouraged to learn as much as you want.
A wide variety of weaving projects will be available. Members are expected to work with projects that have been prepared for everyone.
