Basket Weaving Classes

Shaped to fit comfortably in your hand, this basket is perfect for gathering from your garden or displaying treasured items. In this class, you’ll learn essential skills for working with willow — bending and shaping it into a basket that is uniquely your own.

Please note that classes are being held at Strathcona Community Hall, 10139 87 Ave NW Edmonton. We will be located in the lounge upstairs, please use the ramp to access the doors for the building.

This is the perfect all-purpose basket — strong, versatile, and ready for anything! In this class, you’ll learn how to work with willow and develop the skills to create a classic round basket with a sturdy handle.

** This is a 2 day class. The first class is on March 14, 2026 running from 1300 to 1600. The second class is on March 15, 2026 running from 1000 to 1500.**
