EWG members demonstrated spinning with a drop spindle and a spinning wheel, and weaving on a tapestry loom, table loom and inkle loom, to shoppers at the Old Strathcona Farmers’ Market.
Deep Freeze

Volunteers from EWG and other organizations demonstrated their craft as part of the Prairie Homestead at Deep Freeze, a Byzantine Winter Festival on 118 Avenue. The Prairie Homestead allowed the public to learn about spinning, weaving and other skills.
