The Edmonton Weavers’ Guild would like to welcome you to our website. Our organization was founded in 1953 to encourage local weavers, spinners, dyers and felters to meet, exchange ideas and learn. Our guild home is located at the Strathcona Community League Hall, at 10139-87 Ave and phone number is #780-425-9280. Please note that the phone is not manned on a regular basis, however please feel free to leave a message.
The guild offers many resources and advantages to members, including study groups, equipment loans, a full library, and entrance of woven goods in our annual sale. The guild also runs classes, demonstrations and events open to the public, to promote weaving and handcrafts in Edmonton and area. There are also four quarterly annual meetings, to which we invite you.

The Edmonton Weavers’ Guild is also pleased to acknowledge the assistance
of the Government of Alberta’s Community Spirit Program towards the
purchase of a new Louet, 12-shaft floor loom. This loom does amazing
complex weaving, but is easy to use, and will be enjoyed by all of our
weavers.
